Duplication We use Pioneer DVR-S201 drives to create your DVD-R duplicates. These Pioneer drives are probably the most reliable DVD-R recorders. Still, there are serious considerations to be made before you start initiating a DVD-R production. DVD-R is not nearly as reliable as CD-R for instance. It seems that most DVD recorders are not built to meet the full standards of the several formats. Although all DVD drive standards dictate the ability to read both DVD-ROM and DVD-R, in practice that is very problematic. Even within 1 standard (like DVD-R) there often are serious compatibility issues. Cross standard compatibility (like DVD-R and DVD+R) is even worse. Investigation by the well known American company Intellikey Laboratories in 2002, has revealed that over 28% of all DVD-R's are unreadable on other DVD drives. To us, this is a reason not to recommend DVD-R production. At least not if the intent is to redistribute those DVD's. We simply cannot guarantee that all DVD copies produced, will be readable by your customers. However, for the creation of a DVD pre-master, or just conversion to or from DVD, we will gladly help you. Conversion If you have any media type that you would like us to convert to DVD or vice versa, we will be happy to do it for you. We can process nearly all available media types to or from DVD. Printing For the production of artwork for your CD's and packaging, we use a digital printer. The OCE 110. It enables us to produce high quality prints very quickly. Packaging There is a large variety of cases to pack your DVD's. Most commonly known is the special DVD-case as shown here on the right. But also very simple packing like plain paper or PVC envelopes is possible. But you may also go for the well known Jewel Case. Jewel Cases are available in various different models, like the nice slimline version, or the standard case with either a black or a transparent tray. There are also some more flashy cases, like the super strong CShell, or the flashy Pop Out boxes. Both the CShell and the Pop Out box are available in multiple colors.
